LeeN & HaMMaM + 2: June 2012

Chicago here we come!!!

it was amazing.. awesome vacation:)
so my mom left on the may 24th.. i stayed by myself for 3 weeks.. got a hand on the babies and housework and cooking all by myself.. and then my sister came:) great right! my family didnt leave me this year all by myself at all.. love them.. they r the best:)

Anyways.. back to chicago.. yes we went to chicago.. Well.. my teacher/friend invited me to go to Neocon.. which is the biggest convention for interior designers ever.. so at the last minute. i got the courage and decided to go.. so hammam, Jana, the babies and I headed to chicago on the 10th of June.. early sunday... we fed the kids.. load up everything in the car and left to chicago..Jana was the kids' entertainment.. glad she was there..

stopped at Mcdonald's at the second meal's time for the babies.. fed them and grabbed a bite to eat.. and then continued our way to chicago.. we got there at around 4 pm.. not bad right!! We went right away to our friend's house.. had dinner and then left to the hotel.. hammam dropped us and then headed back to michigan.. poor guy:( driving 10 hours back and forth.. it is exhausting)

anyways.. got to the hotel.. they decided to give us one crib for 2 babies.. so we put a bag between them and let them sleep in the tiniest space ever.. they hated it and cried every day at bedtime there.. but during day time they had fun so that is good...

Monday morning i left at 8 am.. Jana stayed with the kids.. fed them, changed their diapers.. entertained them.. WOW.. some tough job!!! So i came back first day from Neocon at around 2:00 pm.. Not bad.. got to see lots of cool stuff but probably no one is interested in that:) Then when i got back we went out.. walked in Michigan Avenue.. and of course had dinner at The Cheesecake Factory... Greatest place ever... lots of fun..

Tuesday.. i went to Neocon from 9:00 to 1:00.. got samples.. freebies.. [Cool Bags.. what do u think Jana? heheeee] anyways.. when i got back we decided to go to Millennium park.. had such great time but the babies got a little sick ( some fever and cough).. so we got them an Antibiotic and continued our fun..

Wednesday.. was cool too.. first thing first.. i had to find MARSHALLS to buy a suitcase.. we had lots of stuff and no bags... so we started stuffing things in bags.. trying to fit everything in.. finished everything and checked out at 12:00 pm.. then we walked to The Navy Pier.. had lunch at Capi's ( a great italian restaurant).. had out caricatures drawn.. way cool.. and then went back to the hotel until it was time for our flight..
