Sick But still adorable

Well.. yaaay me.. we've been sick for the past 10 days... its been hard.. we havent left the house in like forever.. no eat or sleep...
so we weren't able to go get our immuizations or our 6 months checkup... waiting for the babies to get better.. it feels like they r catching a cold before recovering from the one before..

I stopped giving them lansoprazole ( Medicine for reflux) in the morning. and the good thing is that they r doing good reflux-wise..

Yesterday.. selina's temperature was so high so we had to take her to the doctor.. it was friday.. so we called the doctor and went to his house.. He said it is the flu.. no need for antibiotic but she is so tired.. not eating.. poor baby.. but hopefully she'll be better today..

Cry it out and sleep!!

Oh yes!! so I've heard about the Ferber Method.. and I've been trying it on Yousef.. put him in bed at night.. let him cry it out.. check on I'm every 5 minutes the first day and then every 10 the next day and so on so that in the end he'll learn to sleep in bed on his own.. and i must say.. Ferber, whoever he is a genius.. well we suffered for few days but now.. thank god.. i put him to bed even if he doesn't want to sleep.. he might stay there play with his pacifier without the crying:)

oh yes it is a success...

TIME FLIES

Cant believe that 6 months ago we were a family of 2... I don't know how i was living without my little angels.. life is hectic nowadays.. and it revolves around them but i love every minute of it...

6 months... 1/2 year... they r all grown up now!!! time flies.. its crazy...

God bless them...

so both of them are starting to shine... lovely personalities:)

Yousef.. is my cuddly bunny.. he loves to be held but i certainly don't listen to him all the time.. he is ticklish and he has the cutest laugh.. i really love him to pieces...
he started to flip from his back to his tummy all the time so as to reach whatever toy he wants.. and these days he's in love with his feet.. but they still can't reach his mouth.. he is sleeping in bed at night without a lot of crying (thanks to the ferber method)..
he loves books.. mostly eat them but still i think its promising..

Selina.. my little cupcake.. she is always smiling to everyone... and these days she is babbling all the time.. after we resolved her milk issue she became a happy baby.. always laughing and smiling.. at first i thought she doesn't know how to laugh but  i sneezed in front of her once and she laughed so hard.. it was sooo cute... she starting flipping from her back to her tummy but sometimes she get stuck halfway through.. and doesn't know were to put her hand.. and she is using the fake cough all the time to tell u "I AM HERE"... love her to pieces...

thank god they r eating better..and sleeping better..

The Zmily's

Oh yes.. 2 days after hammam left.. his sister Eman came from the UK.. We got to c her but hammam didn't get the chance..

Well the great thing is that she came over to see the kids..

My mother in law came to visit us in the states when the babies were one and a half months old... She stayed with us for about a month.. so we tried then to go out but it was pretty hard since the babies were pretty young.... but we still managed to go to the mall,, Red Robins,, Olive Garden.. That was great:)

Before hammam left to the US.. we had a gathering at Majd's ( my sister's house).. and then the door bell rang and there was Hassan (My brother) ... He was in UK and we didn't know he was coming to jordan.. WHat a surprise .. it was amazing:)

Zingo ou Ringo

Funny how we started to refer to the twins as zingo & ringo once we found out we were pregnant..
I don't know if u guys know them.. Zingo & Ringo (Mat & Pat) was a cartoon that used to come on tv when we were young..

Grandma loved the idea.. so she made t-shirts for Selina and Yousef with Zingo & Ringo's picture on it:)
